World Travels with Saskia – Terms & Conditions

1. About Us
World Travels with Saskia, owned and operated by Saskia Jackson, is an independent affiliate of OASIS Travel Network, a registered Seller of Travel (CA CST 2099900, FL ST14303, WA 602904620). Registration as a Seller of Travel does not constitute approval by the State of California.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between you (the “Client”) and World Travels with Saskia (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By authorizing payment, signing agreements, or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Scope of Services

World Travels with Saskia provides travel planning, research, and booking services for clients seeking customized travel arrangements. We act as an intermediary between clients and travel suppliers, including airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, and other service providers (collectively, “Suppliers”).

When you authorize us to use your credit card to make payments on your behalf, we do so solely as your agent. Payments are processed directly with the Supplier, and all transactions are subject to that Supplier’s terms and conditions.

3. Supplier Responsibility and Liability

All travel arrangements are made through independent Suppliers that are not owned, managed, or controlled by World Travels with Saskia. We are not liable for any act, omission, injury, loss, accident, damage, delay, or irregularity that may occur due to the default, negligence, or misconduct of any Supplier or third party.

We are also not responsible for any loss or additional expenses due to delay or changes in schedules, overbooking, defaults by hotels or airlines, sickness, weather, strikes, acts of nature, or other causes beyond our control.

4. Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for reviewing all travel documents, itineraries, and confirmations for accuracy. It is the client’s responsibility to obtain valid passports, visas, health certificates, and any other documentation required by the destination.

Clients must also comply with entry requirements, health regulations, and travel advisories issued by the destination country.

5. Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds

All payments are due as specified in your proposal or invoice. Deposits and final payments may be non-refundable and are governed by each Supplier’s cancellation policy. By authorizing payment, you agree to those terms.

World Travels with Saskia is not responsible for Supplier refund policies, delays in processing, or refusal to provide credit or refunds. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect against cancellation, interruption, or other unforeseen events.

6. Travel Insurance

We highly recommend all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for trip cancellation, trip interruption, medical emergencies, and baggage loss. Clients are responsible for reviewing policy coverage and exclusions.

7. Changes and Revisions

Changes to an existing itinerary may incur additional fees, including Supplier-imposed penalties or administrative charges from World Travels with Saskia.

8. Assumption of Risk

Travel involves inherent risks, including but not limited to illness, injury, property damage, and unforeseen events. By booking with us, you acknowledge and accept these risks and release World Travels with Saskia from any liability arising therefrom.

9. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our control, including acts of God, natural disasters, terrorism, labor strikes, or government restrictions.

10. Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

12. Acceptance of Terms

By making a booking, submitting payment, or otherwise using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
